EventTank aggregates event data from various social networking and event listing web sites to create a  searchable database that allows third parties to recieve a comprehensive listing of events that is categorized by interest, date, time, and geographic area, etc.  This effort is proof-of-concept, originating from Atlanta Startup Weekend, 13-15 November, 2009.

Event information exists across the Web and is refined and output via EventTank.  We offer a very simple search page.  From the search page, users may search across multiple event Websites, currently Meetup and Eventful, which are implemented at this time.  We intend to offer search of a wider range of event-related Websites, including: Upcoming (a Yahoo sevice), Eventbrite, etc.
